New troopers set to join MSP
Sixty-five new Michigan State Police Troopers graduated in Lansing on Friday.
During the ceremony, the troopers will be sworn in by MSP’s director, Col. Kriste Kibbey Etue. Troopers are assigned to one of the eight districts in the state.
The keynote speaker will be Governor Rick Snyder.
The Upper Peninsula has three recruits graduating, and all of them will be stationed at three posts in the U.P.
Nine total troopers will be assigned to the U.P.’s Eighth District:
