Detectives interview witnesses about man found dead in Marquette

The Marquette Police Department continues its investigation into the death of Kyle Dowling this afternoon.

Detectives have interviewed several witnesses, canvassed the scene, and attended an autopsy that was completed this morning in connection with the case. The victim’s toxicology results are still pending. At this time, Police have not found any evidence of foul play by another party that may have caused Dowling’s death.

Marquette Police responded to a call at around 9:00 Tuesday morning in the 1400 block of Lynn Street in Marquette, at which time officers were directed to an unconscious male subject lying on the front porch of his residence. Police discovered that the man was deceased after attempting to make contact with him. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Kyle Patrick Dowling of Marquette. Dowling was last seen alive Monday night.
