Man extradited back to Wisconsin

A man wanted in connection with a Kaukauna, Wisconsin murder investigation has been extradited from the Upper Peninsula to Wisconsin.

James Anderson, 37, reportedly fled a domestic disturbance–attempted murder scene in Little Chute last Sunday.

At the time, police deemed Anderson armed and dangerous.

He was on the run until Tuesday when Michigan State Police Troopers and deputies from the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department found him hiding in a rustic campground near Holmes Township.

Anderson appeared in Menominee County District Court yesterday where he waived extradition to Wisconsin.

Deputies from the Outagamie County Wisconsin Sheriff’s Department picked Anderson up from Menominee County Friday afternoon.
