Man who stole women’s clothes sentenced
A Marquette County man accused of stealing women’s clothing was sentenced to prison in Marquette County Circuit Court Friday.
William Joseph Miller, 48, of Republic was sentenced to a minimum of two years, ten months to a maximum of ten years in prison on one count of Larceny of $200 to $1,000. He was sentenced as a habitual offender, third offense.
Miller was given credit for 405 days served and court fines total almost $200.
In at least ten separate incidents, women’s underclothes and swim wear were taken from clothes lines on Witch Lake in southern Marquette County in the summer of 2012, and clothing was also removed from vehicles in two incidents.
