Daniels released by Buccaneers
Former Northern Michigan University offensive lineman Jace Daniels was released from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad on Tuesday. The Escanaba native was cut to make room for wide receiver Skye Dawson.
The past few days have been a roller coaster ride for Daniels. The Buccaneers released him on Saturday after he failed to make the 53-man roster.
Then on Sunday, Tampa Bay re-signed Daniels to the team’s practice squad, only to be released once again just two days later. Daniels is free to sign with any NFL team.
