NMU volleyball intrasquad scrimmage

The Northern Michigan University volleyball team played an intrasquad scrimmage Tuesday night at Vandament Arena. The Green team defeated the Gold team in three sets, 25-11, 25-16, and 25-15.

Sarah Hamilton led the Green team with 10 kills. Lina Lopes added 9 kills and Kalli Herron tallied 8 kills. Kellisha Harley finished the night with 31 assist for the Green team.

Sophomore Lisa Studnicka and freshman Megan Crane each had 8 kills for the Gold team. The Wildcats begin the regular season on Sept. 6-7, at the University of West Florida Invitational in Pensacola, Fla.
