Teenager pleads to reckless driving
An Ontonagon County teenager has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors related to an auto accident.
Seventeen-year-old Zachary Seid of Rockland admitted to reckless driving and a controlled substance charge.
He’s been sentenced to 30 days in the Ontonagon County Jail with credit for one day served.
Then he’ll have to spend 12 months on probation and perform 20 hours of community service.
Seid was originally charged with operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, which is a five-year felony.
The accident happened on February 3rd on US-45 in Ontonagon Township near Woodspur Road.
