Ishpeming woman arrested after accident
Police have identified a woman involved in a hit-and-run accident in Negaunee.
Thirty-two-year-old Heather Elizabeth Arsenau of Ishpeming was arrested today by the Ishpeming Police Department on multiple charges.
She’s charged with failure to report an accident, unlawful use of a license plate and operating a motor vehicle without security.
Police say Arsenau was traveling westbound on County Road in Negaunee on July 14th when she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, hitting a fence and some decorative rock.
She’s being held in the Marquette County Jail pending arraignment.
