Traxxas TORC racing recap
The annual visit from the Traxxas TORC Racing Series was once again a success. Race fans at the Bark River International Raceway were treated to three consecutive days of racing on Friday-Sunday.
The weekend was a homecoming of sorts for Iron River native Nick Baumgartner. The ex-snowboarder turned off-road racer competed in the Pro Light series.
Baumgartner finished 5th on Friday, 6th on Saturday, and 4th on Sunday. He currently sits fourth in the Pro Light standings with 99 points.
Another U.P. driver, Jamie Kleiman from Wilson, won his race on Saturday in the Super Buggy 1600 series.
The Traxxas TORC series is next in action on June 29 and 30 at the Crandon International Off Road Raceway in Wisconsin.
