Meth lab suspects back in court

Three Dickinson County women were back in court Monday to face charges in connection with a mobile meth lab.

Samantha Matson, 22, of Vulcan pled guilty to Operating or Maintaining a Meth Lab.

She will will be sentenced on June 17.  When sentenced, the second count of Delivery and Manufacture of Meth will be dismissed.

Nicole Strutz, 30, of Iron Mountain will be re-arraigned June 3 after pleading not guilty to Operating or Maintaining a Meth Lab.

Jennifer LaCosse, 26, of Norway pled guilty to one count of Delivery or Manufacture of Meth and is being charged as a Habitual Offender, fourth offense.  She will be sentenced for that charge June 17.

LaCosse had two other charges nollied.  In turn, LaCosse will not be prosecuted for a Maintaining a Meth Lab charge or for an additional Delivery or Manufacture charge.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department and K.I.N.D say the meth lab was discovered March 12 at 501 Sterling Street in Kingsford.
