U.P. Econ. Development Alliance meeting
The Upper Peninsula Economic Development Alliance is having its quarterly meeting on Thursday.
The keynote speaker will be John Austin, director of the Michigan Economic Center.
Austin will talk about ways for the Upper Peninsula to use green energy to become a leader in the global economy.
UPEDA vice president Tawni Ferrarini says what’s happening in the state affects anyone operating a business and everyone trying to run local or state government units.
There will also be a panel discussion by the Upper Peninsula Commercial Air Service.
To attend the UPEDA meeting, the cost is $25.
