652nd Engineer Company Returns Home

It’s a momentous day for many families, as Army Reserve soldiers based in Harvey return home from Iraq.

30 soldiers from the 652nd Engineer Company’s Harvey detachment are back home after a year deployed in Iraq.

The cheers of their loved ones left many of the soldiers like Specialist Jerry Fish and Sgt. 1st Class Steve Trent speechless during the welcome-home ceremony.

For loved ones who were waiting for their soldiers, the support of others is what keeps many of them going.

And with today’s welcome home, it shows Julie Fish and Sandy Trent how much company they have.

The 652nd’s primary operational mission in Iraq was to build bridges.
