Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 9/4-5

Tonight, expect that first wave of storms to move through before 7pm before light showers linger for the remainder of the night. Friday keeps a chance of showers and storms around early, before the rain exits east later during the afternoon. Tomorrow night clouds will gradually decrease as cooler air arrives. Lows will bottom out in the upper-40s.

Storms roared through Thursday, prompting a few warnings across the southern portions of our viewing area. Another round of storms will race in during the evening bringing heavy rain and lots of lightning.

Lows will drop to the lower-60s, with west winds at 5 to 15 miles per hour. Friday keeps a chance of showers and storms around early, before the rain exits east later during the afternoon.

Highs temps will occur early during the morning as we top off in the mid-60s. Winds will come out of the northwest at 10 to 20 miles per hour. Tomorrow night clouds will gradually decrease as cooler air arrives. Lows will bottom out in the upper-40s, while winds continue out of the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Sunshine returns Saturday, but the “fall-like” air mass hangs around keeping highs in the 60s.
