Areas from Watersmeet, Iron Mountain, to Marquette can expect this snow to arrive over the next one to two hours and drop an inch or two of snow by the start of the evening. Expect area roadways to become slick for the evening commute in these areas. The snow will then spread East into the Munising and Newberry areas by early this evening.

Wednesday, we’ll keep light snow around during the morning, before partial clearing occurs late in the evening. Highs are expected to reach the low to mid-20s, while west winds increase around 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, a reinforcing blast of cold air settles in, as clouds continue to decrease. Low temps will bottom out in the mid and upper single digits, while winds shift a bit out of the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Thursday, skies will feature more sun, as high pressure takes control of the viewing area.
