LANSING — Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is making an ongoing investigation into the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans public to encourage victims and witnesses of mistreatment there to come forward.

Schuette confirmed that his Healthcare Fraud Division has been investigating allegations of improper care at the downstate facility since just days after a Michigan Auditor General report brought the situation to light.

If you witnessed or experienced patient mistreatment, you can contact the Attorney General’s Healthcare Fraud Divison at 1-800-24-ABUSE.
