Chippewa Co. woman headed to trial on meth charges

A Soo Township woman is headed for a jury trial for multiple felony charges after pleading not guilty in Chippewa County Circuit Court.

Fawn Teeple, 32, faces two counts of operating and maintaining a meth lab, one count of controlled substance delivery, and one count of maintaining a drug house.

Teeple was arrested with three co-defendants at residence in Soo Township in January.

Detectives from The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement discovered what they say was an active meth lab.  They seized syringes, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia from the residence.

Teeple will appear before Judge Lambrose in Circuit Court in June for a three-day jury trial.

Her co-defendants, 36-year-old Kevin Farnquist and 44-year-old Sean Kirkland, have yet to plead to their charges.

Charges against 45-year-old Jay Tanner have been dropped.
