Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 8/3-4
The heat started early and lasted long on Wednesday, as temps soared into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Tonight, most of the afternoon cloud coverage should head out of here, as the warmer air mass lingers. Lows will bottom out in the mid and upper 60s, while winds lighten.
Thursday, the heat continues, with isolated thunderstorms arriving later into the evening. Highs will top off in the upper-80s and lower-90s, while south winds pick up around 10 to 20 miles per hour.
Tomorrow night, we’ll keep rain chances across the region, as a cold front approaches the area. Low temps will drop to the upper-60s and lower-70s, while winds shift slightly out of the southwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Rain and clouds leave on Friday, with cooler air arriving behind.
