Driver Arrested for Waving Gun at Another Car
Two people are arrested in Delta County after reports of a driver allegedly pointing a gun at another driver while they were both on the road.
State Police from the Gladstone Post pulled over the suspect’s vehicle on US-2 in Rapid River yesterday afternoon.
The driver was a 28-year-old man from Manistique and he had a 21-year-old woman from Gulliver as a passenger.
The driver is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of firearm during the commission of a felony.
Police also say he had cocaine, marijuana, and a schedule-4 narcotic with him at the time of the traffic stop.
The passenger is also charged with possession of those same drugs.
Police say the arrests took place without incident.
Their names had not been released this afternoon.
