Gremlin’s Dillinger signs NLI with NMU
HOUGHTON — It’s that time of the year when we hear the term “National Letter of Intent” getting mentioned. High school athletes everywhere are deciding where they want to continue playing their sport. Today, a Gremlin decided she wants to become a Wildcat.
NMU women’s basketball head coach Troy Mattson announced that Houghton’s Sydney Dillinger has signed her National Letter of Intent to play for the NMU. Dillinger averaged 10 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3.4 steals for the Gremlins last year, earning West Pac Conference MVP honors and first team All–U.P.
Mattson says the team looks forward to working with her in the next four years and watching her game develop.
