Statewide Ballot Issues
Besides Congressional races everywhere in the country and races for different state legislative seats everywhere in Michigan, plenty of issues will be before every voter in the state.
Besides the governor’s race, decisions will be made on the front of the ballot for the state Board of Education, University of Michigan Regents, Michigan State Trustees and Wayne State University Governor.
Judicial races, such as the two seats on the Michigan Supreme Court, and the two statewide ballot questions are on the back of the ballot.
The first proposal is to convene a constitutional convention next year for the purpose of drafting a general revision of the state constitution.
The second is a proposal to amend the state constitution to prohibit certain felons from holding elective office and specified types of public employment positions.
