Tickets on sale for NMU/Wisconsin hockey matchup

MARQUETTE, Mich.- Tickets are now on sale for the Northern Michigan University hockey series at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis. against the University of Wisconsin on Oct. 12-13. Game times are set for 8:05 p.m. Eastern on Friday and Saturday. The series is a rematch of the 2006-07 season-opening series when the Badgers and Wildcats met at the Resch Center.

Tickets can be purchased at the NMU ticket office in the Superior Dome (906-227-1032), starting Tuesday (May 29). Online purchasing of tickets must be done at www.ticketstaronline.com.

“The weekend gives our alumni and students from Wisconsin the opportunity
to watch the Wildcats in their home state,” Steve Reed, interim athletic director said. “This series gives our team and the university great visibility. When we hosted this series in 2006 we realized the impact for NMU. We hope to see a lot of NMU fans in green and gold down in Green Bay.”

NMU fans seating sections are 220, 221, 222 and 208, 209, 210. The NMU student section is 201, 202 and 203. The NMU ticket office has tickets available for all sections, including the Party Pit and VIP areas.

Ticket prices are as follows:

-$22 Adults
-$15 NMU student with ID
-$15 Students 18 and under
-Free Children under age of two
-$30 Party Pit*
-$140 VIP Party Pit table of four**

*The Party Pit is a general admission area located in the North end of the Resch Center.

**The VIP area has six reserved tables on the glass in the Party Pit. These tables seat four people and must be sold as a complete table of four. Call Ticket Star at 800-895-0071 to order your table.
