Plea deal for meth lab suspect in Gogebic County
A Wisconsin man accused of operating a meth lab made a plea in Gogebic County Circuit Court Tuesday.
James Kolehmainen, 27, of Hurley, was arraigned on two drug charges in December: operating/maintaining a meth lab and possession of meth or ecstasy.
Officials from the Gogebic County Prosecutor’s Office will not release what Kolehmainen pled to until he is sentenced June 3.
His co defendant, 23-year-old Rebecca Cyr, will also be sentenced June 3. She made a plea in November, but no information is available on what she pled to.
The pair was arrested in September by the Wakefield Post of the Michigan State Police in Ironwood Township.
Troopers stopped them for a traffic violation and found illegal drugs and meth lab components in the vehicle.
