Tech wins football game vs. Walsh
Behind another solid performance from their defense, the Michigan Tech football team moved to 2-0 on the season after a 29-7 win over Walsh.
The Huskies allowed just 154 yards of offense in the game. The Cavaliers were held to 19 rushing yards on 16 carries.
Huskies kicker Garrett Mead accounted for 17 points, including a school record five field goals. Charlie Leffingwell ran for 145 yards on 33 carries. Quarterback Tyler Scarlett finished with 238 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Michigan Tech will play at Findlay next Saturday, Sept. 28. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
