Fatal Rollover Crash in Felch
Police in Dickinson County are looking into a rollover crash that killed a man over the weekend.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened shortly after 3 am Central time Sunday morning on Lucas Road in Felch, near M-69.
Police say 46-year-old Scott Curran of Felch was heading northbound when he lost control of his Chevy Blazer and entered a ditch on the west side of the road.
His vehicle struck some small trees and overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side.
Curran died at the scene, but two female passengers and a male passenger got out of the vehicle on their own.
They were treated at the scene and released.
Police say no one was wearing a seat belt.
They also say alcohol use and high speed were factors in the accident.
