12/12/12 Baby at MGH

We won’t see another spot on the calendar with a date like Wednesday’s until the next century is upon us.

But 12/12/12 will always be a particularly special day for a family in Gwinn.

Javon Schuettpelz was born on the unique date yesterday at Marquette General Hospital.

He was due on the 17th, but he showed up a little early.

Javon’s mom, Reesha Schuettpelz, says she was a few centimeters dilated on Monday, so her physician induced labor a few days ahead of schedule.

Both mom and baby are doing well.

The not–so–little guy weighed in at eight pounds, nine ounces, and 20 and a half inches long.

James Cornelius is Javon’s father.

Javon will be welcomed home by three older sisters, ages two, nine and ten.

Marquette General had three births on 12/12/12.

Javon was the first of them, coming into the world shortly after 9:30 in the morning.
