Possible Armed Robbery in Delta County

Delta County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a possible robbery in progress Saturday morning in Escanaba.

Police say just after 6 a.m. the store clerk at the Grain N Grape convenience store reported that a man wearing a ski mask, carrying a pistol and demanding money.

Police say the man fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male about 5’9″ tall and a medium build.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Delta County Sheriff’s Department.

Assisting on scene was the Escanaba Public Safety Department and the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post.
