MDOT seeks public input
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will host a series of public meetings throughout Michigan this month to get feedback on the state long-range transportation plan. The plan, also known as MI Transportation Plan: Moving Michigan Forward, is being revised through the year 2035.
Each open house-style meeting will run from 5 to 7 p.m. with a formal presentation at 5:15 and 6:15 p.m., followed by a discussion period, except for the session in Lansing on Aug. 15.
The public meetings will take place at the following Upper Michigan locations:
Monday, Aug. 13: Escanaba at Bay de Noc Community College (Joseph Heirman University Center)
Wednesday, Aug. 15: Houghton at Michigan Technological University (Lakeshore Center-Community Room)
Thursday, Aug. 16: Sault Ste. Marie at Lake Superior State University (Cisler Center’s Lake Superior Room)
