Resume Writing Workshop

When it comes to searching for a job your resume is the number one marketing tool for yourself. If it is an effective one, you should be getting more interviews even with a tough job market.

Career Services at Northern Michigan University held a free resume writing workshop today. It mainly consisted on simple tips like keeping your resume organized and in chronological order. It is also a good idea to personalizing it for each different employer.

There is one mistake with resume writing that is easily preventable. Always have someone else look it over for simple errors.

Having a well written and formatted resume will make you a better competitor in the job market.
