Meth Lab Bust in Marquette County
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team made a bust at Sawyer on April 4th. UPSET detectives received a tip that someone was manufacturing Methamphetamine at a residence on Dart St at Sawyer.
A search warrant was executed and evidence of a meth lab was found. Two
children were turned over to Marquette County Child Protective Services
ages 1 and 3. A male and female suspect were lodged at Marquette County
Jail for probation violations.
The Marquette County prosecutor’s office will be reviewing the case for additional Meth related charges.
UPSET detectives were assisted by MSP Neguanee, Forsyth Twp PD, West Branch Twp
Fire, Marquette County CPS, and the MGH ER staff.
