Marquette General School of EMT
One Upper Michigan hospital offers classes on EMT and paramedic training.
The Marquette General School of EMT is a training ground for emergency service volunteers.
One of the most important parts of the EMT network in the upper peninsula is the training that takes place.
School of EMT manager Curt LeSage says the school offers people all across the U.P. a chance to take the class at Marquette General where they might not otherwise have access to the training that they need.
It’s a six-month-long program with two evening classes each week.
The school plans to offer another EMT course during the fall.
