A Copper Country fashion designer was invited to participate in a prestigious fashion show
High’s Adventure Gear, located at 309 5th Street in Calumet, has been invited to showcase their unique designs at the Pitti Immagine Uomo 2024. The event is one of the world’s leading men’s fashion trade fairs renowned for showcasing the latest trends, innovative designs, and emerging talents of the fashion industry. Held annually in Florence, Italy the extravagant presentation attracts fashion enthusiasts, designers, and industry leaders from around the globe.
A passionate business born in Alaska in 2012, HAG’s brick-and-mortar shop has been established in Historic Downtown Calumet since 2021. Founded by Justin and Jaimee High, the brand is fueled by dedication and innovation, developing gear that thrives in the most extreme conditions while embracing the importance of style and fashion.
A pivotal moment for the shop came in August of 2023 when Chris Bosio, a Michigan Economic Development Corporation Representative, walked into their establishment. Bosio said quote “You are a hidden gem, and I want to change that.” end quote. Months later an email arrived to the Pitti Immagine Uomo.
