Marquette’s Pizza Hut is closing after 33 years of service

MARQUETTE –The Pizza Hut that is located on U.S. 41 in Marquette will be closing its doors permanently on Sunday, January 12.

The news came from the Michigan Pizza Hut, Inc earlier today that the long standing restaurant will be shutting down and relocating.

This location has been serving the people of Marquette for over 32 years but the company feels as if a new location can be good for the business. Pizza Hut is actively looking for a new spot around the UP and is hoping to have that accomplished by the end of 2020.

Michigan Pizza Hut, Inc said “We care very deeply about the well–being of our team members that have been employed at our Marquette Pizza Hut location and we intend on working with our current employees in any way we can to help them as they transition into other employment in the area until we reopen.”
