Repairs on a water main will affect traffic and services tomorrow
ESCANABA — Some repairs of valves on a water main at South 14th Street and 16th Avenue South, will be taking place tomorrow, October 10th.
Water service in this area will be shut off at 9:00 AM, for the duration of the repair.
The affected residents will receive a door to door notification of the water being turned off, and a door hanger will be left if no one is home at the time of the notification.
If you are in or near this area, please avoid washing laundry on October 10th.
Please allow your water some time to clear before calling to inform us, as we expect some problems with dirty or discolored water.
Following the repair, the water mains will be flushed to clear the debris created, this flushing is expected to last until approximate 4:00 PM.
