The 2nd annual HBA Wild Game dinner tickets are selling quickly
MARQUETTE — The 2nd annual Home Builder’s Association (HBA) Wild Game dinner is a little over a week away and tickets are selling quickly.
The Wild Game dinner is HBA’s main fundraiser for their scholarship fund.
Last year they were able to raise $4,000 to give away to kids going into the skills trade industry and this year their goal is set for $5,000.
Aside from dinner they are doing different raffles and will be doing a theme table raffle as well this year.
The HBA is excited to continue to help out kids and their futures.
“Last year we were hoping for 100 people and we ended getting 175. Counting the money at the end of the night, it almost brought me tears. We did such a good job and it overcame our expectations and we are hoping to do that again this year,” said Sarah Schultz, Executive Officer of the HBA of the Upper Peninsula.
The fundraising dinner is sponsored by U.P. General Contracting in Marquette.
The dinner will be taking place January 17th at the Northern Michigan University’s Great Lakes Room.
They currently have less than 50 tickets left, if you are interested in buying a ticket you can visit them on 309 S Front St #102.
Or give them a call at (906) 228-2312.
