NEGAUNEE — Christmas time is here, and happiness and cheer can be found this weekend at the Historic Vista Theatre in Negaunee.

The theatre is performing ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas,’ and good grief is it going to be fun for everyone. It’s the classic Christmas story that we’ve all come to know and love, performed live on stage. The cast is extremely age diverse, featuring actors from age 9 all the way to 24. Audience members will even get a chance at some door prizes.

“It talks about finding the true meaning of Christmas, and that’s something that gets lost these days – a lot,” said the director of the show, Bonitia Symons. “So, it’s a wonderful thing to bring that forth.”

Performances will be at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd and 23rd with a matinee at 2:00 p.m. on the 23rd. Tickets are available at Snowbound Books in Marquette, Midtown Bakery & Cafe in Negaunee, and Rare Earth Goods in Ishpeming.
