GLADSTONE — Two drivers were hospitalized after colliding head-on Tuesday night.

Gladstone Public Safety officers responded to a two-vehicle head-on accident in the northbound lane of US-2/US-41 near Michigan Avenue just after 10:00 p.m.

Authorities said that the drivers of both vehicles were transported to different hospitals for the treatment of their injuries.

No other details have been released about the accident, but it remains under investigation. The Delta County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police, Gladstone Volunteer Fire Department, Escanaba Public Safety, Rampart EMS, Valley Med, Escanaba Township Fire Department and Gene’s Towing all assisted on the scene.
