Christmas ALMOST stolen in Marquette Township
MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — On Tuesday night, many people caught the Christmas Spirit during a tree lighting ceremony in Marquette Township.
Members of the public sang along together to their favorite Christmas Carols, as the Westwood Mall was lit up with a magical Christmas tree. The mall was also host to a very special guest who arrived in his fire truck all the way from the North Pole!
Santa Claus wasn’t the only guest – the Grinch was even caught in the area trying to steal Christmas. The Sheriff’s Department made sure he didn’t make that mistake again.
The Westwood Mall, Super One Foods, Biggby Coffee, and Honor Credit Union all assisted the Township in making this special evening happen.
