NMU’s Haunted Theatre unleashes frights
MARQUETTE–Halloween is just around the corner, and with the spooky holiday, comes the thrilling terrors that you’ll encounter inside a haunted house. NMU’s Forest Roberts Theatre intends to bring you a frightfully exciting experience.
The traditional stage is transformed into everyone’s worst nightmares as the Haunted Theatre takes over. From heart-racing jump-scares to characters that will leave you screaming through the night, the event has something in store for everyone. Martyn Martello, the director of the Haunted Theatre, says this year has new thrills you won’t want to miss.
“It’s interesting, when we do Haunted Theatre, some people go through and laugh it off, some people go through and at the end, they sit there and won’t go out to their car because it’s dark out,” said Haunted Theatre Director, Martyn Martello. “Different things affect people differently – some people can walk into a room of spiders and don’t care, some people see a single spider and they’re done.”
The Haunted Theatre opens on Thursday night, and runs through the 28th. Tickets are $5 for students and children, $10 for adults, and there are even a limited number of $15 fast passes to put you at the front of all the action.
