Police chase suspect arraigned
IRON MOUNTAIN — The man who police say led them on a vehicle pursuit across state lines last week was arraigned Thursday morning in Dickinson County District Court.
Christopher Vincent Holmberg, 25, of Iron Mountain faces charges of fourth degree fleeing from police, operating a vehicle with no license and habitual offender, fourth offense. On July 13th, Holmberg took off when an officer with Kingsford Public Safety attempted to pull him over on Carpenter Avenue.
The pursuit ended in Wisconsin when Holmberg put the vehicle into a ditch. Holmberg and a passenger in his vehicle were not injured.
His preliminary exam is set for August 8th.
