St. Catty’s Day Pet Promotion

NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP — Well if you’re looking to save a pot of gold this week, a special promotion at the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will allow you to do just that, while also bringing home a furry friend.

The St. Catty’s Day promotion has been underway and will continue thru this Saturday. All cats that are six months and older will be $25 to adopt.

Included in the adoption fee is a pet cat that has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and has a microchip. There are a variety of cats up for adoption at the shelter and anyone is invited to stop by and visit.

“We brought in some really nice kitties, we are helping other shelters. We have all ages, all sizes, and all temperaments. Wonderful kitty cats, they really do offer a lot of joy and comfort in to your home,” said Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter Community Outreach Coordinator, Ann Brownell.

If you’re hoping to bring home a loving shamrock this St. Patrick’s Day, you can stop by UPAWS in Negaunee Township.
