Cochran trial date pushed back

IRON RIVER — The murder trial of Kelly Cochran scheduled to start on January 30th, 2017 has been pushed back.

Iron County Prosecutor Melissa Powell says a conflict in Iron County Trial Court Judge Joseph Schwedler’s schedule is the reason for the delay.  The trial will now begin on February 13th, 2017. It is expected to last three weeks.

Kelly Cochran faces multiple felony counts in the murder and disappearance of Christopher Regan.
