One-vehicle accident leaves car with extensive front end damage
MARQUETTE — A one-vehicle accident left a car with heavy front end damage, but no injuries.
Around 8:30pm, police say they responded to a car accident on Wright Street just after Neidhart Avenue in Marquette near Northern Michigan University. A black Toyota Corolla left the roadway and hit a small tree after traveling through approximately 25 feet of woods.
The driver, a young male, appeared uninjured. The vehicle suffered extensive front end damage and did need to be towed from the scene.
Northern Michigan University Public Safety, Marquette City Police Department, Marquette Fire Department and UP Health System EMS assisted at the scene.
