Woman arraigned after car jacking incident

MARQUETTE — Twenty-two year old Cassie Croschere of Marquette pleaded guilty to unarmed robbery.

This is a felony punishable for up to fifteen years in prison. She was originally charged with carjacking and fleeing a police officer or vehicle in the third degree.

As part of the plea agreement, those charges will be dismissed. Croschere was arrested in August after she fled the scene of an overdose and took control of someone’s vehicle with them still in the passenger seat. She then lead police on a brief high speed chase.

Croschere’s sentencing date will be on November third.
