ESCANABA — A Gladstone woman involved in a meth bust earlier this year received her sentence Thursday morning in Delta County Circuit Court.

Mindi Smith, 32, received six months in jail with credit for 63 days already served. She pleaded guilty to one count of purchasing pseudophedrine to make meth in July.

As part of a plea agreement, another charge of maintaining a meth lab was dismissed. Smith was one of four people arrested on meth charges by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team in a two–day period in May.
