GREEN BAY, Wis. — Northern Michigan’s Kyle Steuck was signed by his hometown Green Bay Packers.
“It’s a dream come true,” Steuck said. “Being from Green Bay, you grow up dreaming of being a Packer. Now, I’m getting my opportunity to be one.”
The former Wildcat was added to Green Bay’s 90-man roster. He participated in the Packers’ rookie mini-camp May 5-7.
In 2015, Steuck was named to the all-GLIAC second team after starting every game under center. A two-year captain, the Green Bay native played in all 44 of the Wildcats’ games over the past four seasons.
During his time at Northern Michigan, Steuck received all-GLIAC honorable mention accolades in 2014 and the team’s offensive newcomer of the year award in 2012.
