Extreme heat plagued Upper Michigan once again Thursday, with rain arriving late in the day. Tonight, showers and t’storms linger on, with some pockets producing heavier rain. Lows will fall to the mid and upper-60s, while southwest winds blow at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Friday, light showers leave during the morning and linger, with sunshine taking over into the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid and upper-70s, while winds shift out of the northwest at 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, clear skies dominate the region, as cooler air settles into place. Low temps will drop to the mid and upper-50s, while northwest winds continue at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Saturday is shaping up to be a beautiful afternoon, with comfy temps and ample sunshine.
