Police chase suspect enters plea agreement
IRON MOUNTAIN — An Upper Peninsula man who allegedly led police on a high–speed pursuit across the state line pleaded guilty to several charges Monday.
Robert Montey, 32, of Kingsford pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, fleeing from police and firearms possession by a felon.
He also entered a no contest plea to one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.
On June 21st, Montey was arrested by the Iron Mountain Police Department after leading police on a chase from Iron Mountain to Niagara.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced in Dickinson County Circuit Court on August 15th.
