Man sentenced in criminal sexual conduct case
SAULT STE. MARIE — A Sault Ste. Marie man charged with multiple counts of first and second degree criminal sexual conduct received his sentence Tuesday in Chippewa County Circuit Court.
George Klukowski, 49, of Sault Ste. Marie, was sentenced to 40 years in prison on one count of second–degree criminal sexual conduct.
He was arrested back in April of 2015 after a search warrant was conducted at his residence. Deputies found evidence from a criminal sexual conduct assault, a firearm and forty marijuana plants.
Eleven other charges including six counts of criminal sexual conduct and a felony firearms charge were dropped.
