ESCANABA — An Escanaba woman involved in a meth bust earlier this year will spend the next couple of months behind bars.

Twenty-one year old Marissa Tallberg of Escanaba was sentenced to three months in jail with credit for time served.

She recently pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance, maintaining a drug vehicle.

Tallberg and two other Escanaba residents were arrested back in March by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team in a meth bust on N. 16th Street.

In addition to her jail sentence, Tallberg’s license was also sanctioned.
