LANSING — Members of the public looking to contribute ideas for Michigan’s infrastructure future have a new way to do just that.

A new website — www.miinfrastructurecommission.com — is designed to give residents the opportunity to have their voices heard by the state’s 21st Century Infrastructure Commission. The commission — which includes Northern Michigan University’s Gavin Leach as one of its 27 members — was formed in March to identify long-term strategies to ensure the safety and efficiency of the state’s infrastructure.

In addition to the website, the group will be holding a short tour that includes a stop in Marquette. The date for that tour stop has yet to be determined.
